Proposal
It took me about 3 takes to do the voices of the scenes. The audio came out just fine, however, we had to do retakes because of us either messing up the lines or just laughing; we was laughing at either us making jokes or laughing at each other messing up. The main purpose of this coursework was to use the exact same lines but dubbed with our audio; however, I chose to change it up, I made the script very similar, but I changed it to make it have a more 'British' theme. I personally like the changes that I had made for this scene, because it made more funny and I personally think this made it better for me to use.

The scene was just under two minutes long, this made it good for the dubbing. When coming across this scene, there was a lot of pauses within the dialogue; there was a lot of background sound within the scene, so when editing it, I had to put ambience sound within it, the ambience sound contained street sounds and people talking in the background. Also when Red gets uppercut by Deebo, I added a punching sound effect and it made it have a more comedic sound effect.

However, in some parts of the scene, there were the characters talking, however, there were parts of the scene where the characters were talking but there wasn't that much dialogue. This is because the audio was a bit too fast for the scene.

Voiceover Analysis

Pulp Fiction Ghetto Voiceover

In this, I did Vincent Vega's death scene from Pulp Fiction. In the start of the scene we had saw Bruce Willis' character go into his house and then saw Vincent in his bathroom and then guns him down, and then leaves his house. In this scene I had a friend do a voiceover of him, doing his thoughts; we made in a comedic thing and did kind of a ghetto theme to it (something like ghetto thoughts). I got my friend Noah, to talk into it and put his take on Bruce Willis' characters thoughts. This can be looked at like a parody, and it shows as well due to it taking the 'piss' out of the situation that is happening at hand. We did a checkover again and Noah did a second take, the second time around it came out just right and it I decided to export it to the file.

Music Evaluation

Straight Outta Compton - Music Analysis

I did a scene the movie 'Straight Outta Compton'; in this scene it shows some teenagers on a school bus getting rude to some Bloods. The bus was stopped by them and the blood members were talking to them about messing with gang members. I played some keys that suited the scene, I experimented with other things before but I came to the conclusion to chose the final product. To be fair, I didn't like the music that I had played, mainly because I am not good at playing the piano; and also I felt like it didn't suit the scene that was showing. This, in comparison to the one that I had also done, I felt like my previous work was better as it had suited the scene a lot better. In the Pulp Fiction scene, it played Dr Dre's, 'Let Me Ride'; this suited the scene due to it being set in the 90's making it have the same tone as the background of the scene. In the other one, it was of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg having an interview, I had added one of Tupac's first biggest hit singles (I Get Around); which was had also suited the vibe of the interview. This is due to it playing one of his hit songs to one of his last interviews before he had died. In the Straight Outta Compton scene, I felt that the music didn't suit the scene that I was showing at hand.

Menace II Society Sound Effect - Evaluation

Menace II Society Sound Effect - Evaluation
I made this in a double lesson, I used the opening scene from 'Menace II Society'; in this scene it showed the two main characters (Caine and O'Dog) walking into a 'convenient' store. They felt like the owners were 'stereotyping' them (by being suspicious of their actions, due to them being black), everything was going fine but the shopkeeper then said something that disrespected O'Dog. O'Dog then shot the shopkeeper 3 times and then killed his wife. In this scene, I had added sound effects of gun shots when O'Dog was shooting the shopkeeper and when he had shot his wife. I had also added sound effects of bottles clinging together, when they were taking out their beer and also when the screen had turned to face the shopkeeper, there was a sound of a car horn, so I had personally added it to the scene.Towards the end, I had added the sound of police sirens to make them exiting the building seem more dramatic. I think that I could've improved on the timing of the sound effects in the scene. Also I could've made it more effective by making the sound effects a bit louder (with the exception of the gun sound effect). Also the three minutes long, and besides the sound effects that I had added there weren't that much sound effects within the scene. I also had to space some of the sounds as well and due to this scene being 3 minutes long, this made it spacious and it was extremely long.
